Why not publicise your forthcoming twinning visits, fund raising activites within these forums?
The calendar feature is now live for the use of all forum members. Any registered member of the boards can enter their future activities from single activities to visits lasting several days, this is an opportunity to let everyone know what you are doing and perhaps increase support and interest in your group. This is just the latest in an ever increasing range of facilities we are planning to offer the countries twinning community. Just click on "Calendar" at the top of the page and follow the instructions. We look forward to your input. -------------------- Alan (Admin)

Welcome to Nick Goodwin of the Exeter/Yaroslavl Twinning Assoc and Kidder of the Ki dderminster Twinning Association in being the first to take advantage of our new calendar feature within two days of it going live.
All registered board members are invited to take advantage of this feature, why not publicise your activities and help attract more support. Even if your group is listed within the main site, that does not qualify you as a registered member of the boards which requires a seperate registration which is quite easy and, like the rest of our services, completely free. I am delighted to see that more of our member groups are taking advantage of our forum calender section.
Remember, that the forums are open to anyone to take part in discussions etc. We look forward to your thoughts and opinions on any matters relating to twinning. Membership of the forums is not only restricted to the committee members of our listed groups, but to anyone in the world who has something constructive to say. To apply for membership of our discussion boards (forums) requires registration which is quite easy to do. Just click on "register" at the top of the forum page and enter your details. In a few minutes you will receive a "validation email" which you just have to click on and your membership will receive the initial validation at which point you may make a post. However, to avoid the problem of "spammers" accessing the forums we then do a manual validation before your post will appear "live" within the forums. This will normally take place within 24/48 hours of your application (normally much sooner). We apologise for this slight delay in authorising your membership of the forums, but we have found it necessary as we are currently refusing membership to 100 - 300 false applications a day from recognised "spammers" who are desperate to gain access to our forums to spread their poison. A lack of control in this area led to our earlier forum posts being lost due to "hackers" on three seperate occasions. If you are a genuine applicant and you accidentaly get refused, please email me via the ocntact details on the "contact us" page on the main website. Looking forward to hearing from you Alan -------------------- Alan (Admin)
